THE OPPORTUNITY:

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.

 

The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months.  LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units.  Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship. 

 

PROGRAM DETAILS:

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.

 

2025 PROGRAM DATES:

• June 1 - August 14, 2026
• Working hours: 36hrs/week. Monday – Friday, PST
• June 15 – 19, 2026:  On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office
• June 29 – July 3, 2026: Week off for Summer Shutdown

 

YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA... 

We're looking for a passionate and motivated Intern to join our Microservices Platform team. Our team is responsible for managing the organization’s Kubernetes platform, which is the backbone for our microservices architecture. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project focused on Agentic AI automation within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You'll gain hands-on experience with modern cloud-native technologies and AI frameworks, working alongside experienced engineers to solve real-world problems.

 

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH:

• Assist in the development and implementation of Agentic AI frameworks to automate specific SDLC steps, such as code generation, testing, or deployment.
• Participate in building and maintaining the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which is crucial for managing the context and communication between different AI agents.
• Contribute to the design and development of AI agents that interact with our Kubernetes platform.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate AI automation tools into our existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and test code, debug issues, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
• Document your work and findings, helping to create a knowledge base for our new automation initiatives.
