About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to fill SwiftRe's Team Lead position. SwiftRe is Facultative's fully automated submit/quote/bind platform for Commercial Property & Casualty placements. As the Team Lead you will oversee a team responsible for originating SwiftRe opportunities as well as servicing of new and existing clients. You will have broad exposure within the marketplace, and in collaboration with Individual Risk and Facilities will coordinate marketing efforts to promote the best suitable product for our clients and brokers.
Core Responsibilities:
- Relationship & Brand Builder
- Analyze subject portfolio and determine customized underwriting parameters
- Monitor SwiftRe portfolio performance and audit client cession quality
- Originate new clients and transition IR portfolios of existing clients suitable for SwiftRe
- Transition portfolio to SwiftRe 2.0 in collaboration with development team

This role reports to the Head Facultative Transactions and SwiftRe.

- L2+ underwriting authority in P and/or C with high interest and understanding of technology
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Client Management experience
- Project management skills
- Commercial mindset
- Proficient at applying data analytics to drive portfolio strategy and actions.
- Domestic travel required as needed
For New York NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $156,000 to $246,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
