Job Description Summary

Oversees and directs the Office of Global Health Affairs operations. Provides leadership and support in the planning and implementation of the School’s strategic goal of international collaborations and initiatives to enhance international preeminence and the School’s leadership in global engagement. Coordinates and administers activities and communications with internal and external collaborations (e.g., WHO Collaborating Center). Supports the development of human capacity leadership in different parts of the world by establishing partnerships programs. Serves as liaison for the School with University and external constituents; Oversees budget; supervises staff. Works with the Dean, Associate Deans and Department Chairs as part of the School’s senior leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership in the planning and implementation of the School’s strategic goal of international collaborations and initiatives to enhance international preeminence and the School’s leadership in global engagement.
  • Coordinates and administers activities and communications with internal and external collaborations (e.g., WHO Collaborating Center).
  • Develops and supports global health initiatives
  • Provides a significant leadership role in developing human capacity leadership; Administers a program for international visiting students, scholars and distinguished guests.
  • Serves as liaison for the School with external constituents; oversees and directs the Office of Global Health Affairs operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 7 to 10 years or Master of Science, Master of Arts, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.  Master’s degree with 10 or more years leade
