Electrical Instrumentation Technician

We are looking for:

• An Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for the Mount Pleasant facility.

 

We count on you for:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and install all plant electrical and instrument equipment including power systems, motors and
  controls, burners, chillers, wiring, digital, electronic and pneumatic instruments
• Install new instrumentation, controls, electrical systems, conduit and circuitry
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routine, preventative maintenance
• Install equipment and inspect circuits to identify malfunctions using testing devices such as ohm meters, voltmeters, and ammeters
• Wear PPE and abide by all PPE requirements
• Aware of CMRs in their area and safe handling procedures
• Utilize plant HSE safe work procedures such as: line breaks, hot work, LOTO, and elevated work
• Be a strong team player and self starter with a focus on safety and delivering results.

You will bring:

• Associates degree or technical school certification in industrial instrumentation and electrical skills preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience working on industrial instruments and controls, experience working on single and three-phase electrical
  systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated effective problem solving;
• Commitment to safety;
• Contractor I/E leadership;
• Self motivated is a must
• Strong communications skills

• The hourly pay rate for this position is $37.72 per hour plus 401K benefits.
