VP Global Sourcing, BA Fiskars

Are you ready to lead global impact through strategic sourcing at scale? As VP, Global Sourcing at Fiskars, you will take on a high-level leadership role overseeing our full external spend—nearly 300 million euros annually—while guiding a diverse, international team across Asia, Europe, and the United States.

In this truly global position, you will collaborate closely with our executive and regional leadership teams, driving sourcing strategy, sustainability, and operational excellence. This position is based in any of the locations Espoo, Finland/ Eschborn, Germany/ Middleton, USA and reports to our Chief Supply Chain Officer, Rajan Padbanathan. The role is full-time and is hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

You will play a central role in shaping Fiskars BA global sourcing strategy and leading a high-impact team. Your responsibilities will span strategic planning, supplier management, cost optimization, and organizational development.

Here's what you'll be accountable for:

• Develop and implement a global sourcing strategy aligned with business objectives, sustainability targets, and cost-efficiency goals.

• Lead a team of approximately 40 sourcing professionals across Asia, Europe, and North America, fostering a high-performing and agile culture.

• Oversee and manage a sourcing budget of approximately 300 million euros, ensuring spend optimization and effective cost control across all categories.

• Build and evolve the sourcing function to excel in direct, indirect, raw material, and category management, supporting long-term business value.

• Manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance, quality, sustainability, risk, and contract management.

• Collaborate closely with R&D and Business Area teams to support new product development, design-to-value initiatives, and sustainable sourcing goals.

• Drive digitalization of procurement processes, implement procurement systems, and use data and scorecards to track continuous improvement.

• Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance end-to-end supply chain performance and innovation.

WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate for the VP Global Sourcing role will bring a powerful combination of strategic leadership, global sourcing expertise, and a passion for innovation. With a deep understanding of the sourcing value chain, this individual will drive performance and transformation across our procurement function—challenging the status quo, fostering supplier partnerships, and building a future-forward, sustainable sourcing approach. Their high energy, collaborative mindset, and proven ability to lead complex global teams will inspire excellence and elevate our sourcing capabilities across the organization.

• 10+ years of senior-level sourcing experience managing over €500m in direct and indirect spend in a global context.

• Proven track record in cost reduction, procurement excellence, and supplier relationship management.

• Strong leadership experience in managing international, cross-functional, and matrix teams, ideally with expatriate assignments.

• Expertise in sourcing digitization and driving sustainability initiatives through strategic partnerships.

• Skilled in change leadership, with the ability to challenge norms and lead large-scale transformation projects.

• Deep knowledge of global sourcing trends, supplier markets, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of turning insights into action.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
