Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)

The staffing coordinator is responsible for the nursing dept staffing and scheduling, ensuring the appropriate staffing levels are maintained to meet operational needs, while adhering to employment laws and company policies, in accordance with our local bargaining units’ agreements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Creating and maintaining nursing staffing work schedules.
  • Managing time off and work schedules for the nursing dept.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws regarding overtime and scheduling practices.
  • Tracking employee attendance and accruals.
  • Generating staffing reports. Identifying staffing gaps and proposing solutions to address the various staffing issues in accordance with our polices and agreements.
  • Analyze data to inform future staffing strategies.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven experience in payroll and staffing practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, Workday, and Shiftwizard strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, business administration, or related fields.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $62,000

Day Shift; 9a-5p
