The Role: Senior Director of Product Management, Personalization

As the Senior Director of Product Management for Personalization at Ascenda, you'll report into the CPO, Jan Wilken, and be the driving force behind our personalized product experiences, ensuring that every innovation not only captivates but also caters to our users' unique preferences and needs. This role is more than overseeing product development—it's about leading with foresight, ambition, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in delivering Loyalty as a Service solutions that drive meaningful engagement and value for our users.
You will leverage bank data, merchant data, and our proprietary data to drive personalized experiences while ensuring strict adherence to privacy and compliance regulations, safeguarding customer data at every touchpoint. Your work will be instrumental in pioneering new content partnerships and delivering unparalleled rewards opportunities that enhance user engagement across our platform and drive growth for our clients and partners.Your focus is to enrich our core rewards ecosystem with cutting-edge AI capabilities for targeting and personalization, transforming it into an essential tool for our users. In collaboration with the CPO and cross-functional partners in Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, and Marketing, you will craft and execute a strategic product roadmap that brings these innovations to life.

Who You Are

• An advanced degree holder in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, with an MBA as a strong plus.
• Over 12 years of experience in product management, including significant leadership roles, ideally in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• A proven track record in leveraging fintech, loyalty programs, and SaaS products, with a special emphasis on AI-driven personalization and targeting.
• A natural leader, leading through the frontlines, who has successfully built and nurtured high-performing product teams, fostering an environment of mentorship and innovation.
• Analytical and strategic in problem-solving, with a history of making data-driven decisions.
• An exceptional communicator and collaborator, adept at working across diverse cultures and time zones.
