We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team in Union City, CA. In this role, you’ll lead a small team of technicians, keep our production equipment running smoothly, and make sure everything is up to standard when it comes to food safety and workplace safety. You’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting our site’s day-to-day operations and improvement projects. Manage all aspects of the maintenance of production equipment, technical and maintenance-related systems, buildings and grounds for the facilityWe are requiring someone to work onsite at our Plant located in Union City, CA

Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and limit production downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and boost reliability.
- Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety (HACCP, GMP) and safety regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and coordinate external contractors.
- Identify and implement process and equipment improvements.
- Contribute to new installations, upgrades, and automation projects.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Manage and submit all environmental State & Federal Regulatory Reports.
- Other related tasks, as required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, food is a plus
- Solid experience leading a small team, great people leadership skills
- Strong know-how in preventive maintenance and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A collaborative, open, and straightforward communication style.
