River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Part Time Cashier!
Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
15-25 hours/week
Experience-based pay ranging from: $16.05 - $17.30 per hour

Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Job Duties:
- Provides prompt, friendly, courteous customer service, accurate cashiering cash handling, store security and smooth store operations
- Committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers
- Sanitizes, cleans, stocks, faces and organizes register area when customers are not present

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to serve customers with kindness and grace.
- Basic arithmetic proficiency including counting, addition and subtraction
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Experience with and knowledge of natural foods preferred
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
- Work weekends and evenings on a regular basis
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be physically able to occasionally grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, and turn as needed.
Constant (67-100%): Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting/reaching waist to shoulder, talking, hearing, correctable vision including near acuity and depth perception
Frequent (34-66%): Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds floor to waist
Occasional (1-33%): Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds floor to waist, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance floor to waist, lifting/reaching above the shoulder
Approximately 5% of the time: Administrative Duties & Sitting
