Boeing Global Services is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our Product Repair Station in St. Charles, Illinois. This role will focus on supporting our Battery Repair Station on repairs and overhauls of BA/GA and commercial aircraft batteries. Provides administration of services, schedules, purchasing, delivery and financial performance. Executes customer pricing, contract terms and agreements. Consults with customers to schedule shipments. Coordinates with supply chain to ensure and plan stock levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Receives and prioritizes orders; Performs initial inspections on units received for repair
  • Opening, closing, and prioritizing work orders in SAP
  • Manage open order report
  • Engages customers, shop leads, and manager to give updates, quotes, and lead times and to schedule workflow
  • Communicate customer priorities to technicians in order to meet expectations
  • Coordinate with technicians on a daily basis to manage efficient transportation of completed service work.
  • Sourcing components and issuing purchase orders
  • Issuing and managing inventory    
  • Complete clerical and administrative tasks.
  • 49 CFR and ICAO/IATA DG shipper training
  • Managing supply of packing and shipping materials for the return of customer property
  • Communicate quality and safety issues to leadership
  • Assist with audits
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in St. Charles, IL.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of SAP (or similar ERP) experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience using Microsoft office
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience processing Dangerous Goods shipments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • SAP (or similar ERP) experience (5+ years)
  • Customer Service Experience (3+ year)
  • Part 135/145 administrative experience (3+ years)
  • Associates in supply chain management
