SCOPE: We are looking for an organized and ambitious individual to join our growing industrial gearbox team. The position will be tasked with assisting our warehouse, shipping and receiving, and cleanup operation teams. The individual will be tasked with handling incoming and outgoing parts/gearbox inventory, painting assembled products, and growing into the role of assisting our clean up team. This is an entry level position where the individual will be tasked within the groups with the expectation to learn each and begin a journey progressing within our company.

SPECIAL SKILLS / Requirements:              

• Operate overhead crane.
• Operate automated large parts washer and sandblasting equipment.
• Operate forklift.
• Use handheld power and manual tools.
• Ability to wear a respirator for short durations while cleaning and painting gear boxes.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to learn new skills associated with gear boxes.
• Basic administrative skills to check parts in and out of inventory.
• Work in a safe manner.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or GED.  1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience, gearbox preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
• Work in a team environment to accomplish goals.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend and squat for 10 hours.
• Manage time and complete the job in a safe manner.
