Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
This role will support US NPI Manufacturing daVinci Systems in Global Operations. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and studying operational expenses. It will provide insights and optimization recommendations. This position will also work with the Global Operations FP&A team to communicate key business strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reponsible for tracking, examining and reporting financials for US Manufacturing daVinci Systems division operations.
- Support long range models, annual budget & quarterly forecast planning and month-end close
- Design & deliver insightful financial reporting/dashboards, economic valuation and ROI models to influence key business decisions
- Create and maintain value-added insights and key operational KPIs for senior management teams
- Develop and maintain capacity models and efficiency metrics to support resource allocation conclusions
- Partner with functional business teams to ensure full alignment in product costing and financial operations assumptions
- Proactively identify, drive and execute process improvements by leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale routine activities
- Partner with Global Operations and other factory site FP&A teams on timelines and deliverables. Ensure alignment in financial reporting and projections.
- Ad hoc data discovery and investigation
Qualifications
Skill/Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience involving budgeting, forecasting and scrutiny
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics related discipline
- Ability to consistently discern strategic insights from data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including experience building financial models involving complex formulas and large data sets
- Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake and Tableau preferred
- Excellent relational and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with business partners at varying levels management and cross functional teams
- Proven self-starter with ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- Fast, high quality execution of quantitative work with attention to detail
- Regularly anticipate future challenges and business needs, and anticipate follow-ups and secondary implications
