Relic Senior Cutter

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Relic Senior Cutter. Relic Senior Cutters are experienced team members of our Relic Manufacturing department, responsible for prepping, staging, cutting, and delivering memorabilia pieces for our high-end relic cards. Ideal candidates have prior experience in manufacturing with an eye toward ensuring high quality and fidelity of all processed material. Senior associates are expected to demonstrate leadership qualities and start working with leads, supervisors, and managers to drive improvement across the department. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will find themselves a strong cultural fit. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with leads on creating the workload schedule, which includes Assessments, Cutting, Returns, Inventory assignments on a weekly basis.
• Lead cutting team and effectively train incoming teammates and/or temps on how to properly cut relics.
• Efficiently operate and train both full time and temporary labor cutters on Comelz machine (automated cutting).
• Work with Comelz and GCP team to ensure the machine is maintained through regular cleaning and ordering parts when needed.
• Collaborate with Leads & Relic Ops Manager on new cutting technology & processes
• Accurately log hours into Airtable to track hours spent on cutting, assessing and staging
• Learn the ins-and-outs of the Relic Ops department as new processes and technology are implemented to improve the quality and efficiency of our product
• Abides by and helps to uphold all security measures to ensure Relics are secure
• Coordinates cross functionally to ensure we meet due dates

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Dallas / Sunnyvale, TX based
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred
• Microsoft Office experience required and a desire to learn and use alternative software including Airtable
• Oracle EBS experience preferred
• Prior experience with fabrics preferred, prior experience with Cutting Numerical Control (CNC) machines/die or press cutters preferred
