This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday/ on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
 

Role Summary


Authenticate the accuracy and timeliness of lifecycle changes made to our clients’ policy terms and billing setup. Assess premium, billing and receivables impact of implemented changes. Conduct audits as needed to determine over/under payments. Work with internal business partners and Clients to drive resolution of system setup issues and audit findings. May act as subject matter expert and resource for team members. May develop and/or recommend training programs to address error trends.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collect and authenticate required documents and data elements supporting change requests.
  • Complete assigned Lifecycle Change tasks by validating accurate and timely system setup.
  • Assess premium, billing and receivables impact of implemented changes.
  • Work with internal and external business partners to educate on the use of premium remittance tools, and premium calculations as compared to specific policy plan designs.
  • Analyze month to month premium payment history, related payment support, and detailed census data to determine accuracy of premium calculation and remittance.
  • Work with internal and external business partners to drive error correction and resolution of open over/under balances.
  • Complete assigned Premium Variance Reviews and follows established service level agreements and procedures on assignments.
  • Develop and/or recommends training programs to address error trends and assist with completion of process improvement projects.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to phone and email inquiries from internal and external business partners.
  • Comply with departmental policies regarding ethical and proper use of company equipment, including internet access, email and phone usage.
  • Technology Requirements:
    •    Functioning broadband (cable/DSL) should meet the following minimum requirements 50mb download/20mb upload speed
    •    Ability to hardwire into internet connection

 

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or other related field preferred.
2+ years of previous service experience working in a customer/client-facing role required.
Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, control procedures and audit standards, practices, and techniques.
Demonstrates a strong focus on customer service when partnering with internal and external business partners.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel spreadsheet manipulation and MS Access data input.

Ability to multi -task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000
