Responsible for daily QC of all items rejected for brand or condition with a focus on trying to save items with resale value.
What You Get To Do Every Day
- Special audits and training recommendations for employees who’s rejection rates are above or below company standards.
- Documenting daily QC results and providing weekly and monthly statistics to management.
- Utilizing condition & brand standards guide to understand where exceptions can be made.
- Utilizing looker and partnering with merchandising to understand product trends.
- Attending training and relevant meetings with merchandising related to brand standards.
- Responsible for handling items that need a brand code added into our system.
- Presenting QC finding in daily team huddles as needed
- Working closely with copywriting to review items rejected and presenting recommendations as needed
What You Bring To The Role
- A degree in fashion merchandising or a related field
- 3+ years experience in a luxury fashion environment
- Experience in buying, pricing or planning is a plus
- Knowledge of vintage and archival fashion is highly recommended
- Must be comfortable with google sheets, documents, presentations and excel
- Strong research skills and understanding of fashion collection information is required
- Ability to analyze data and provide feedback to management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in high volume, face paced environment
- Highly motivated individual who can work independently
- Professional, can do, team player attitude
- Ability to adjust to the ever changing environment
The expected hourly rate for this role is $19 - $22. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
