The Associate Director of International Recruitment and Admissions is responsible for implementing the comprehensive marketing and recruitment plan to meet the University’s goals of internationalizing the campus. This position develops and coordinates communication to enhance relationships among prospective students, regional partners, and the global community. Responsibilities include CRM (Liaison) management and development, recruitment strategy implementation, marketing material development, social media strategy, management of Husky International Ambassador Program, website and data analytics, engagement with prospective students, and admission decision making.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Application Management (30%)
Implementation of overall international recruitment strategy for international NEF, NET, IEC, Grad, joint and dual degrees, short-term programs, online, US and foreign government sponsored, and Semester at SCSU students;
Admit students in compliance with government regulations regarding international students;
Collect and evaluate international student application documents;
Travel to and promote St. Cloud State University at recruitment and outreach activities, conferences, fairs, meetings, and training events
Communications (25%)
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan in collaboration with campus partners (University Communications, Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Records and Registration, etc.) for prospective students at every stage of the recruitment process. This includes CRM strategies, electronic messages, and social media campaigns;
Collaborate with academic departments for specific communication plans
Marketing and Promotions (30%)
Work with University Communications to create, edit, and produce printed or online international admissions marketing materials;
Coordinate promotional and information materials to promote St. Cloud State University including printed materials, emails, text, telephone outreach and marketing campaigns while maintaining University brand guidelines;
Coordinate and manage International Admissions website content;
Create the plan and strategy for recruitment fairs based on market knowledge and best practices in consultation with campus partners;
Support admissions events planning and preparation;
Develop and implement social media strategy based on region and country specific social media platforms;
Manage and implement the Husky International Ambassador Student Program and recruitment initiatives including recruiting, selecting, training and supervising the students.
Assistance with the implementation of broader institutional international education plan including but not limited to education abroad and away, international student and scholar services, and international admissions and partnership (10%)
Additional duties as assigned (5%)
Salary Range: $47,607.00 - $93,342.00/annually
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree and one (1) year of professional higher education experience in admissions, international education, programming and advising, or another student services area involving management of programs and services OR Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional higher education experience in admissions, international education, programming and advising, or another student services area involving management of programs and services;
Demonstrated effectiveness in publication development, marketing, web design, and communication strategies;
Ability to serve as a Designated School Official (DSO);
Excellent oral and written communication skills and cross-cultural sensitivity and presentation skills;
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students;
