As the Strategic Sourcing Manager – Technology, you will be responsible for collaborating and executing on the strategy for tech activities, including sourcing, procurement, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating contract commercials for positive outcomes with success measured by cost reduction/avoidance or positive economies of scale.

• Identifying and evaluating potential vendors and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

• Managing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with SLAs, governing agreements and fostering long-term partnerships.

• Conducting market research and staying informed about industry trends and developments.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their software needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.

• Monitoring and managing software license agreements and ensuring adherence to licensing policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, applicable field or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years working in procurement, sourcing, and/or vendor management.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects/contracts simultaneously.

• Knowledge of technology licensing models and agreements

• Cloud cost fundamentals (AWS & Azure are pluses), including: commits, savings plans, reserved instances, etc.

• Data analytic skills. (PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker are pluses)

• Experience with procurement software and tools. (Workday/Zip/Ironclad are pluses)

• Familiarity with software product lifecycles and vendor management best practices.

• Ability to evaluate technical specifications and requirements.

• Fundamental knowledge of AI.

• Financial & business acumen.
