Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Business Analyst to join our professional services team at Majesco. As a Principal Business Analyst, you will leverage your extensive experience and deep understanding of insurance technology to lead and drive successful software implementations for our customers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations while minimizing customizations and maximizing the use of out-of-the-box features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering workshops with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Analyze and document detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Design and propose comprehensive solutions using Majesco's software products, focusing on best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Mentor and coach junior business analysts within the team, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster growth and development.
- Provide training and support to both internal teams and external customers on the implementation of Majesco solutions.
- Update and maintain the training documentation suite, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the latest software versions and features.
- Lead large project or small projects concurrently, overseeing business requirements gathering, configuration oversight and solution assurance.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Majesco's product suite, staying current with industry trends and advancements in insurance technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, preferably within P&C and Loss Control.
- Proven track record of successful software implementations with a focus on minimizing customizations and maximizing out-of-the-box solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading workshops and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience in mentoring and training junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
What Majesco Offers:
Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Majesco considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
