We have an immediate opportunity for a 1st Shift ​Material Coordinator Technician ​to join us at our diverse team in Easley, SC.  The Material Handler Technician performs various duties related to pulling stock, order staging, and production and warehouse material movement.  The Material coordinator communicates directly with production assembly operators to ensure sufficient and correct supplier parts are present for each production order. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Receive incoming parts from vendor or warehouse; Identify parts and place them into proper bin locations. 

  • Assist in replacement of defective parts to prevent production operator down time. 

  • Receive and maintain certification of proper forklift operation license and perform daily safety checks. 

  • Perform daily replenishment route checks of floor stock items, prioritizing assembly cells when signaled by light. 

  • Complete timely and accurate updating of SAP system material information. Report existing or pending part shortages to Department Facilitator and Supply Chain Specialist.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent from Technical School and/or 3 months related experience on Danfoss products  

  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes 

  • Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone) 

  • Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand). Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics.
