Position Description

Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented, initiative-driven, quick-learning Strategic Finance Lead Analyst to contribute to critical functions relating to Vantage’s finance and growth strategies. You will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders; managing expectations and escalating where required in a fast paced work environment. You will work closely with our CFO APAC and Director, FP&A and have high visibility with members of our Executive Teams in North America and Asia Pacific. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of driving results and takes initiative. You should have a professional-growth mindset and be willing to bring forth innovative ideas and methods that can benefit Vantage. Depending on learning curve and growth, opportunities to take on management and responsibilities on various projects will arise. As the business grows, this role will also have managerial responsibilities for an Analyst to deliver the strategic finance goals for the APAC region.

Essential Job Functions

• Create and improve financial models to forecast profitability, cashflow, and funding requirements for new and existing projects

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project development process is reflected in the financial models and be agile to drive key processes to its conclusion

• Work closely with the Director, FP&A and the CFO APAC and other regional executives to provide quantitative and relevant recommendation on strategic and financial topics, including new project investments, contract structure and pricing, equity requirements and debt funding where required

• Own, source and prepare key financial documents and key performance indicators to prepare robust assumptions used by the Finance team to make data-driven and economically sound recommendations to Management and Shareholders

• Suggest and implement innovative ideas or methods to improve Vantage Asia Pacific efficiency and profitability.

Duties

• Prepare business case models for data center projects and present investment / contracting / pricing recommendations to top management

• Define, create and maintain various databases related to projects in order to provide accurate and relevant data or assessment to top management

• Contribute to, or drive, forecast models for Vantage APAC business

• Contribute to, or drive, strategic planning model efforts related to organic or inorganic growth strategies

• Support debt raising efforts in Asia Pacific by preparing relevant financial documents and analysis.

• Prepare material for internal review and regular updates with the Board of Directors

• Support senior management in strategic initiatives and analysis.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent

• 5+ years of relevant experience in related Corporate Finance / Private Equity / Valuations areas

• Strong modelling skills is a must

• Prior data center/digital infrastructure/commercial real estate investment experience is preferred but not required

• Fundamental understanding of economics, financial statements, accounting and valuation concepts

• Highly proficient with MS Office Tools, especially Excel

• Strong stakeholder management and resilience in fast paced environment

• Unrelenting attention to detail and execution of instructions “hands on” attitude, entrepreneurial mind, team spirit
