Position Summary

Oversee teams involved in engineering standards, technical support & consultation for the field, or technical documentation writing, publishing and management. Ensures the company's engineering and design standards align with safety, reliability performance and compliance requirements.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

 

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

A reasonable salary range is:​

Bay Area Minimum: $163,000

Bay Area Midpoint: $220,000​

Bay Area Maximum: $277,000​

&/OR​

California Minimum: $155,000

Californa Midpoint: $209,000​

California Maximum: $263,000​

 

Job Responsibilities

• Manages assigned department material problem reports (MPR), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• May Oversees a team of specialists providing technical field support on distribution construction standards, specializing in proper use and installation of electric equipment. Ensures prompt response to issues and helps prioritize work. Addresses more complex, escalated issues.
• Oversees a team involved in writing review & editing and technical document management of the guidance documents as well as documentation form other internal clients. Ensures documents are consistently formatted and current per company and/or regulatory requirements. Ensures all documents are published and searchable
