Position Overview

Responsibilities of a Corrections Maintenance Craftsman include monitoring, operating, and maintaining good quality equipment and machinery. Your knowledge and motivation will be utilized as you are monitoring the performance of basic maintenance duties by individuals in our custody of facility buildings and equipment, with close attention to safety, security, and sanitation. Essential Functions

• Assists trades with preventative maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Maintains vehicle fleet and documentation associated with vehicle fleet maintenance.
• Assist trades with preventative maintenance and repair of auxiliary equipment.
• Trains individuals in custody assigned to said craftsman.
• Maintains daily count of tools used during the day.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
