The Secure Processing Solutions (SPS) department is responsible for the design, test and certification of secure mission computers, cross domain technologies, and cryptographic products which equip our warfighters to thrive in today’s multi-domain battlespace. Our department collaborates with portfolio teams across the organization to help capture new business and create security solutions that address our customers’ demanding needs.

The Software Based Cross-Domain Solution within the SPS department is responsible for the development of an application that enables secure transition of data across security levels. The team is looking for a Software Engineer I to support the expansion of our CDS capabilities.

What You Will Do:

• You will participation on a collaborative integrated product team, employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
• You will actively work in the full product development life-cycle writing software solutions, including embedded software solutions.
• You will effectively communicate with internal team members and leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with Object Oriented languages (C++)
• Experience with Embedded languages (Ada, Rust)
• Experience with Embedded Software Solutions
• Experience working in Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo
