Senior AI/ML Researcher (Cyber Defense Focus)

Location: Remote Work

Must have an active Secret Security Clearance

Role Summary:
Contribute to the development of transformer-based threat detection systems and adversarial ML defenses for Army networks. A Key architect of hierarchical reinforcement learning agents implementing Option-Critic frameworks for autonomous cyber operations. Responsible for maintaining <50ms inference times on tactical edge devices while ensuring PBFT consensus across distributed nodes.

Requirements

Need to Have:

• 5+ years deploying transformer architectures in resource-constrained environments
• Proven experience with Byzantine fault-tolerant RL agents (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Active publication record in IEEE S&P/USENIX-level security conferences
• Demonstrated edge deployment of ML models with <50ms inference times

Nice to Have:

• Army C5ISR program participation
• Experience with MIL-STD-882E compliance
• Certifications: AWS Machine Learning Specialty
• Familiarity with AFSIM threat modeling

Operational Impact:
Will architect AI systems detecting 6th-gen cyber threats in Army CPCE networks
