Active and existing security clearance required after day 1Collins Aerospace Engineering & Technology is looking to hire a Sr. Engineering Manager - Design Quality who has a passion for problem solving and developing high-performing teams. You will be part of the Design Quality Assurance organization, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the quality of exciting new design products and develop continual improvement solutions.
This role will be worked onsite in Richardson, TX and will require an active or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Relocation assistance is available.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans, guidelines, and policies to achieve quality targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Management: Direct the development and implementation of organization-wide projects and processes to enhance overall product quality and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
Data-Driven Insights: Oversee the collection and analysis of quality data from various sources to develop long-term quality strategies and programs.
Process Improvement: Lead process analyses to ensure compliance with quality standards, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
Talent Development: Develop and mentor team members, establishing a strong talent pipeline to support current and future business needs.
Collaborative Partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships with functional and business leaders to promote a transformative quality organization aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience with non-recurring or design and development engineering, including Systems and Software Engineering
Experience leading a team in a professional environment
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements (i.e. AS9100, AS9145, DO-178, etc.)
Experience in Continuous Process Improvement methods, Lean Six Sigma, or ASQ certifications
Experience in engineering practices
