As the Material Control Coordinator for Shuttleworth, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient material flow, while aiding with manufacturing BOM releases.

Are you interested in this work?

  • Assist in the production office release of BOM’s for HVM & Express jobs, additions, and customer orders.
  • Identify opportunities to organize, streamline, and maintain the stock room.
  • Efficiently direct the flow of outside process materials (paint, anodizing, plating, etc.).
  • Review project schedules to track job returns and ensure timely delivery to the stockroom for processing.
  • Direct the flow of purchased materials after received and processed.
  • Organize the delivery of job carts to the build location per the project schedule.
  • Manage the movement of raw materials between buildings and ensure movements are recorded in our ERP system.
  • Observe daily materials operations and suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • Enter time sheets daily and correct discrepancies.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and problem solve to avoid future inaccuracies.
  • Fill in as a capable backup to the Shipping Lead in their absence.
  • Additional duties to be assigned by the Materials Manager.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to think critically and find unique solutions to changing business needs.
  • Organizationally aware – understands how material flow impacts engineering, financials and operations.
  • Experience with inventory control desired but not required.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to speak effectively and present information across all levels of company personnel.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Experience operating a forklift, or willingness to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds, frequently lift 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and work over head.
