This position starts at $19.95/hr. with a second shift increase and potential for overtime. 

1st shift Red Crew -Rotating schedule 4:30am to 3:00pm.  

2nd shift- 2:45pm to 11:30pm- Weekend will be required if there is a production need.  

 

Tasks 

Applicant will be responsible for janitorial work including; 

• Cleaning offices, restrooms, common areas, 

• Vacuuming, mopping, and buffing floors through the common areas 

•  Trash disposal, taken inside production areas. 

•  Applicant must be willing to clean outside areas in all weather conditions. 

• Applicant must be willing to do laundry and assist in managing supplies. 

• Applicant must sanitize all designated areas where team members may congregate, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, hand wash stations, office areas. 

• Complete necessary paperwork and submit daily. 

• All other duties assigned 

Requirements 

• Must be willing and able to read and understand Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and cleaning supply labels, MSDS sheets. 

• Basic math skills are needed to calculate chemical dilution proportions for safe use. 

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required.   

• Must be willing and able to occasional assisted lifting of up to 30 lbs., push or pull 30lbs 

• Must be willing and able to Operate heavy vibrating buffer. 

• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.  

• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures ranging from 20 to 50 degrees and requires standing 8 to 12 hours per day. 

• Must be willing and able to work a rotating schedule.  

 

To be considered for the position: 

• Applicants must have at least nine (9) months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position  

 

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
