Job Summary:

This job will design and implement advanced data science models to support business needs. You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Your role involves driving best practices in data science, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior scientists.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead complex data science projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop advanced data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets and solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify data-driven opportunities for business growth and efficiency.
• Implement best practices for data management, analysis, and visualization.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the data science team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous management experience

In addition, you will work closely with PayPal Consumer and Venmo business leaders, Risk Products, Decision Science, Fraud Operations, and Engineering to execute on the risk management roadmap that youand your team will develop risk strategy to manage Pay With Venmo, Venmo onboarding and ATO risks and PayPal Bank related risk lossmitigation and optimize risk experience.

You will provide thought leadership to PayPal Consumer and Venmo cross-functional leaders in multiple Product teams, P&L owner, Finance, and Operations to grow the business while achieving key business objectives

You will work closely with business stakeholders to develop a risk initiatives roadmap to support profitable business growth and trade-offs. Defining team objectives and executing those objectives to drive profitable growth.
