More recently, Sanofi announced in October 2023 its intention to separate its CHC business. Sanofi is reviewing potential separation scenarios but believes that the most likely path would be through a capital markets transaction, at the earliest in Q4 2024, and by creating a listed entity headquartered in France.
Our Team:
At Sanofi CHC, we are currently in search of a Head of Global Network Supply Strategy, who will be responsible for refining and executing our global industrial supply strategy to support our CHC priority brands.
CHC Manufacturing & Supply (M&S) is a key player in CHC Global Business Unit, aiming at aligning industrial strategy and objectives with commercial ambition, delivering our customers’ and patients’ expectations with high quality products.
Within CHC M&S, the CHC Strategy & Projects organization is responsible for industrial network strategy, Product Portfolio Management (PPM), Portfolio Optimization and Industrial 3rd Party Sales, aiming at creating the best industrial network and product portfolio to fully support our CHC growth ambition.
The Head of Global Network Supply Strategy reports to the Head of Strategy & Projects.
Main responsibilities:
The CHC M&S Head of Global Network Supply Strategy is responsible for setting and executing our global industrial supply strategy for CHC. He/she has a key role in strategic sourcing decisions, both on internal and external manufacturing network. He/she leads an experienced team with 5 direct reports.
He/she works in close collaboration with M&S Function Heads (Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering/Maintenance & Energy, External Manufacturing, Manufacturing Excellence, HSE…), M&S Region Heads, as well as Procurement, Legal and Regulatory/CMC teams.
In addition, to ensure consistency and to support overall M&S performance and transformation journey, the CHC M&S Head of Global Network Supply Strategy works closely with his peers from the PPM group in charge of supporting our Priority Brands, the Portfolio Optimization group regarding portfolio simplification as well as with Industrial 3rd Party Sales group regarding transfers.
Main responsibilities include the following:
Define our industrial network supply strategy, in line with overall M&S strategy
develop and maintain an aligned strategic framework on critical topics such as site positioning in internal network (incl. site master plan), make vs buy, dual sourcing, regionalization,
closely work with PPM Head to prepare and present key directions on manufacturing network strategy evolution for endorsement by M&S management,
lead/coordinate the due diligence exercise for M&S to support M&A projects, in close collaboration with M&S functions (Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, …),
lead strategic studies and strategic projects as needed (network, MSA for M&A…).
