Banana Republic is recruiting a Senior Photo Producer, to lead the development of all photo production for Banana Republic Marketing and Social Campaign Shoots. This role is responsible for making sure photo assets are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand. The right candidate has excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.What You'll Do
PRE-PRODUCTION
Oversee production of all Banana Republic Marketing and Social photo shoots while adhering to time + budget constraints
Partner with Creative, Marketing and Styling teams to help create, plan and execute creative vision and strategy for each shoot (i.e. ensuring booking of photographers, talent, stylists, prop stylists, hair + makeup artists, studio etc)
Coordinate logistics and the scheduling of photo shoots by negotiating rates and times with all participating vendors
Ensure all talent and vendor contracts are reviewed, approved and signed prior to shoot.
Scheduling Pre-Pro meetings with cross-functional teams (ie: Merch reviews, meeting with photographers and production team, style out, etc).
Confirming and managing that shotlists are created and filled out in Airtable to be used on set.
Ensuring locations are available.
PHOTO SHOOTS
Act as the main point person – establish clear lines of communication and troubleshoot any issues that arise on-set to ensure a smooth flow from behind the scenes to onset
Attend photo shoots and manage all on-set production as needed. This includes: organizing flow of shoot, ensuring accuracy with samples/outfits, communicating specifics of each shot to CD/AD/photographer, determining backgrounds/set designs, and managing freelance support
Anticipate and resolve issues, including last-minute changes due to business needs, location, talent, or weather issues by utilizing appropriate resources
POST-PRODUCTION
Manage the delivery of all raw assets to the asset manager.
Create, communicate, and manage image markups schedule with photo art directors and retouching schedule with digital artists
Communicate and coordinate changes with digital artists and photo art directors when selects are changed or canceled by designers
ONGOING
Prepare estimates, manage shoot budgets, maintain up-to-date annual forecasts, negotiate rates, and reconcile billing and contracts
Research, establish, and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of diverse industry contacts including creative artists, model agencies, and vendors
Who You Are
8+ years experience producing photo shoots both in-studio and on-location (on-figure experience a must; fashion experience preferred)
8+ years experience in model/talent sourcing and booking and production relating to photo shoots (location searches, permits, location vehicles, catering etc.)
Ability and willingness to travel (~30% throughout the year)
Solution-oriented with strong problem solving skills
Works well under multiple deadline pressure
A detail-oriented self-starter with excellent time management skills, including ability to prioritize and multi-task
Team player with a high level of professionalism
• Ability to identify workflow opportunities and proactively purpose solutions
Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
