Cloud Data Engineer, Insurance Specialist Master

The Team

Our AI & Data practice offers comprehensive solutions for designing, developing, and operating advanced Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. We help clients innovate, enhance, and manage their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can grow and scale effectively.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience with ability to contribute to an end-to-end Architecture and Solution
• 5+ years experience data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform
• Must have at least 2+ years experience Insurance Industry consulting experience
• 2+years experience in Guidewire
• 2+ years experience implementing data solutions on the Databricks Data Intelligence platform, to include Delta Lakes
• 6+ years experience with SQL and Python
• 3+ years experience leading, managing and delivering complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

• Experience with PySpark, Scala and Java highly preferred
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
• Experience in Snowpark
• Databricks Certifications (ie: Data Engineer Associate; Data Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Associate, Machine Learning Professional)
• Understanding of emerging technologies (such as GenAI) and advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.)
• Experience with PySpark, Scala and Java highly preferred
• Experience working with multi-Terabyte data sets
• Experience with real-time data movement solutions that use security and encryption protocols while data is in transit
• Experience collaborating among team members across several geographies
• An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred
