This position requires access to customer data; Must be a U.S. citizen.  SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role.  All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer.

Location:

Washington, D.C. Metro / Capital Region must be within a commutable distance to Herndon/Chantilly, VA and a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. 

Travel: 10-25%

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD or IC security clearance (Secret or higher) required; TS/SCI with polygraph preferred.

About the Role:

The SAP NS2 Cloud Advisory Architect is a senior, customer-facing expert responsible for guiding Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations through their enterprise transformation journey to RISE with SAP Private Cloud and S/4HANA.

This role combines deep technical knowledge with strategic advisory skills to help customers define their cloud strategy, enterprise architecture, and modernization roadmap. The Cloud Advisory Architect leads technical discovery, architecture design, and transformation planning, aligning SAP Business Suite capabilities with mission, compliance, and performance objectives.

You will act as a trusted advisor and orchestrator across SAP, partners, and hyperscaler ecosystems, ensuring successful cloud adoption and long-term mission value.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical and cloud advisory point of contact for DoD and IC customers pursuing ERP and enterprise modernization.
• Present and articulate the RISE with SAP Private Cloud, S/4HANA Cloud, Extended Edition, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) offerings to customer and partner stakeholders.
• Conduct cloud strategy and architecture workshops to assess current-state landscapes, define target-state architectures, and create actionable modernization roadmaps.
• Design secure and compliant end-to-end cloud architectures leveraging SAP Business Suite solutions deployed on AWS, Azure, or GCP hyperscaler environments.
• Advise customers on security, compliance, business continuity, and operational governance within regulated and classified cloud environments.
• Collaborate with system integrators, hyperscaler partners, and SAP Professional Services to co-develop and validate migration and deployment approaches.
• Support technical due diligence and bid processes, including architecture documentation, pricing inputs, and technical proposal development.
• Lead technical deep dives, design sessions, and executive briefings to align cloud architectures with mission objectives and operational constraints.
• Oversee end-to-end cloud solution integrity—from discovery to/through delivery handoff—ensuring alignment with SAP NS2’s secure cloud frameworks and best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal account teams and customers, driving innovation adoption and continuous improvement in cloud operations.
