Job Description

The Data Analytics Intern is responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within Booth Creek Wagyu. Duties include organizing data points, identifying trends and patterns, creating dashboards, and communicating findings for business actions. This position is office-based in Manhattan, KS.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Excel intermediate level in data connections and formulas (including macros, pivot tables and lookups).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
• Great organization skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
• Strong business analysis skills.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large.
• Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enter data for market trends and patterns.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports with market trends past and present.
• Compile business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
• Design new data collection models to better collect information.
• Use business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
• Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission.

Education and Experience

• Currently working on a Bachelor’s Degree (freshman, sophomore, or junior) in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer and Information Science, or a related degree required.
• 1 year in an analytical position, preferred.
