Bring your talent to Raytheon and the Advanced Products Center (APC) manufacturing facility in McKinney, Texas. We have a high visibility opportunity for a Cell Leader in our Radio Frequency Microelectronics factory. Take on full accountability for the safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance of a multi-cell/multi-shift operation.
The RFA Cell Leader will report to the Value Stream Manager and be accountable for the daily management and direction of a team of Production Operators. The Cell Leader will be tasked to generate, maintain, and execute clear operational schedules, priorities, goals while collaborating with functional management to allow for continuous manufacturing of RFA assemblies within a process area.
This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas. The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

What You Will Do
Direct supervision of 15+ production operators.
Collaboration and communication with upstream and downstream Cell Leaders and leadership.
Utilization of knowledge of manufacturing principles, manufacturing support team roles and responsibilities and manufacturing systems in support of initiatives, projects, improvements, and efforts.
Personnel performance input for all related functions and career development of team members including coaching and mentoring.
Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, failure triage support and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow.
Strategic planning development for short term execution as well as long range planning.
Define and Execute priorities relating to safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost.
Interact with support engineering, supply chain, and quality with respect to program schedules.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and
a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized
knowledge of technical or operational practicesExperience working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
Previous experience leading a direct team with specific deadlines, requirements, or deliverables.
Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial engineering practices
Knowledge of quality requirements relating to manufacturing environments
Superior communication skills
Understanding of sequencing for fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and other manufacturing operations in relation to similar type of products or processes
