Cross-Training Pathway for X-ray Technologists

AtlantiCare is proud to offer a structured cross-training program designed for licensed radiologic technologists ready to advance their careers in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

As a MRI Technologist Trainee, you’ll begin your journey toward becoming a vital member of a patient-centered imaging team. Through guided orientation and hands-on experience, you’ll build the knowledge and skills needed to perform safe, accurate MRI scans under physician supervision. From start to finish, you’ll work closely with patients—learning to ensure their comfort, safety, and a positive imaging experience.

Throughout the program, you’ll gain exposure to advanced imaging techniques, support high-quality patient care, and prepare to earn your ARRT MR certification. You’ll train alongside experienced technologists, contribute to clinical excellence, and grow within a collaborative environment that values innovation, service, and professional development.

This is a unique opportunity to expand your skill set and grow your career with the support and resources you need to succeed. Advancement to MRI-level compensation is contingent upon successful completion of certification and registration by the ARRT in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), which must be passed within 18 months of hire or transfer.
