Machine Learning Software Engineer

Resonate is hiring a Machine Learning Software Engineer to support our Engineering team.

Job Duties:

• Design and develop robust data ingestion and processing pipelines using Apache Spark, Scala, Python, and AWS cloud services.
• Oversee the production, quality assurance, and maintenance of data systems, ensuring efficient data flow and reliability.
• Collaborate with product management and data teams to implement Machine Learning feature pipelines for model training and scoring, leveraging Amazon SageMaker and TensorFlow where applicable.
• Analyze large datasets to derive insights that enhance feature development and optimize machine learning models.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field plus 1 year experience in software engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field plus 5 years’ experience in software engineering.
• Experience must include 1 year in each of the following: Amazon EMR for ETL pipelines; Scala/Spark for large scale data transformation (ETL); Linux based systems, Docker, and code versioning tooling (Git, CI/CD); Python; Pandas; Numpy; PyTest; and machine learning frameworks and the data and computation management mechanisms that surround them in a cloud environment (AWS).
