Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Data Administrator with strong expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Data Lakehouse architecture, Data Governance, and Generative AI platforms.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage scalable AWS environments, build secure enterprise data platforms, and support GenAI solution integration. This role requires deep hands-on experience across cloud infrastructure, data engineering, governance, and AI integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code).
• Build and manage enterprise Data Lakehouse architectures using Amazon S3 (including S3 Tables) and Apache Iceberg.
• Implement centralized data governance and fine-grained access control using AWS Lake Formation.
• Enable secure cross-account data sharing and metadata management.
• Deploy and optimize Trino for distributed SQL analytics.
• Administer and optimize Amazon RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and Amazon Redshift clusters (WLM, query tuning, HA/DR).
• Implement serverless automation using AWS Lambda and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Design secure VPC architectures, networking configurations, and enforce IAM least-privilege access models.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch.
• Support enterprise Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

Qualifications

• Cloud & DevOps

• Strong experience with AWS services: EC2, EKS, EMR, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch
• Expertise in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation

• Data & Lakehouse

• AWS Lake Formation (data governance, fine-grained access control, data catalog)
• Apache Iceberg (schema evolution, partitioning, ACID transactions)
• Trino distributed query engine
• Data lake design and ETL/ELT architecture

• Databases & Data Warehousing

• Amazon RDS (HA setup, backups, replication, performance tuning)
• Amazon Redshift (WLM, query optimization, data modeling)

• GenAI & AI Platforms

• AWS Bedrock integration
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementation
• Prompt engineering and AI security best practices

• Security & Networking

• VPC architecture, private endpoints, security groups
• IAM roles, RBAC, encryption at rest and in transit

• Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Data Analytics, AI Specialty)
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
• Cloud cost optimization experience

• Candidate Profile

  The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior cloud engineer capable of operating across Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Governance, Analytics, and Generative AI platforms. Strong problem-solving skills, automation mindset, and enterprise architecture experience are essential.
