AWS Cloud Administrator

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented AWS Cloud Administrator to join our team.  This is a 100% remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain the Cloud One Zone C AWS GovCloud environment that supports the program's legacy Air Force HR systems and nine developer teams.
• Perform daily cloud operations, including networking, backups, monitoring, patching, and cost management.
• Administer the Cloud One Zone C Windows domain and server infrastructure, including Active Directory and Windows servers.
• Operate and maintain the RHEL and Oracle infrastructure that hosts program applications, including operating system upgrades and migrations.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps tooling for the developer applications, and build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage AWS accounts, user access, and resource governance, and provision environments for the developer teams.
• Triage and resolve developer environment issues, work Jira tickets, and handle escalations.
• Support scheduled patching and mission critical tasks beyond normal duty hours as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. An additional 4 years of related experience might be considered for a degree
• 8+ years of systems or cloud engineering experience
• Hands-on AWS administration covering systems operations, site reliability, and cost management. GovCloud experience preferred.
• Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Security+ CE certification (DoD 8140, IAT Level II)
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate and CompTIA Linux+ Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and knowledge of classified security enclaves.
• Experience with SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of web services, including API and REST, and a strong understanding of networking
