At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit.

As part of a hardworking team of engineering professionals, you'll create the critical neural pathways that bring our advanced spacecraft to life in ways few engineers ever experience.

Your Mission at Blue

Join our elite Blue National Security team where your expertise will directly impact national space capabilities. You won't just be designing electrical systems, you'll be architecting the nervous system of spacecraft that safeguard America's interests beyond Earth's atmosphere.

In this high-impact role, you will:

  • Pioneer mission-critical connections - Design and analyze the electrical infrastructure that powers classified spacecraft operations
  • Craft the blueprint for space - Develop sophisticated system and wiring interconnect diagrams that bring advanced space vehicles to life
  • Master 3D frontier engineering - Leverage cutting-edge CAD tools to design and integrate electrical harness systems in the challenging environment of space
  • Drive engineering innovation - Collaborate with world-class engineers to solve unique challenges at the intersection of national security and space exploration
  • Leave your mark on history - Your designs will orbit Earth, potentially travel to the Moon and beyond, operating in the most extreme environments humans have ever engineered for
