Job DetailsJob Location: Macon Campus - Macon, GA 31206Education Level: Associate DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Goodwill Administration and SupportThe Automotive Services Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Automotive Fleet Division at Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia & the CSRA. This role serves as a central point of coordination for fleet maintenance, repair scheduling, documentation, and communication ensuring vehicles, equipment, and records are managed efficiently to support mission-driven operations across the organization.

This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment that supports both internal teams and external partners.

Fleet & Maintenance Coordination


Schedule and track preventative maintenance and repair services for fleet vehicles and equipment
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and technicians to ensure timely service completion
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance logs


Administrative & Operational Support


Manage daily administrative functions of the fleet/garage office
Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor documentation in coordination with Finance
Track fleet-related expenses and assist with budget monitoring
Maintain compliance documentation (registrations, insurance, inspections, etc.)


Communication & Customer Support


Serve as a primary point of contact for internal departments regarding fleet needs
Communicate service timelines, updates, and delays clearly to stakeholders
Support coordination of vehicle assignments and usage across departments


 
QualificationsEducation & Experience


High school diploma required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred
2+ years of administrative, operations, or coordination experience (fleet, automotive, facilities, or logistics environment preferred)


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with vendors, technicians, and cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HRIS or fleet systems a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic understanding of automotive or maintenance operations is a plus, but not required
