This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing.  Please read the job description in its entirety for additional information on accessing the assessment.   The assessment should be completed by Sunday, January 28, 2024.

What role you will play in our team

 

• An Automation Technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems for Oil and Gas operations
• Automation Technician will have on call responsibilities and work in a team environment 

About You

 

• 5 years of experience as an IC&E Technician, Automation Technician or an Associate’s Degree in Instrumentation, Controls or Electrical Systems
• Basic understanding of the Process of Oil Field Delivery Systems from Well Pad to Tank Battery to Central Delivery
• PLC knowledge; including ladder logic (Modicon and Allen Bradley a plus)
• Experience with Rosemount 107 and 800 series RTU’s 
• Experience with transmitters and Hart protocol a plus 
• Knowledge of control valves and positioners
• Knowledge of control loops
• Solid Troubleshooting/Communication skills

What you will do

 

• Troubleshoot all field and Station Instrumentation
• Troubleshoot Control and Electrical systems. (RTUs, transmitters, control wiring)
• Troubleshoot control networks for Well Pads & Tank Battery. ( HART, ModBus, Ethernet I/P, Network Switches, Fiber optics, Cellular)
• Works Safely around instrumentation and electrical systems
• Work 5 days a week Monday thru Friday with times being on call (including weekends)
