DESCRIPTION

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Robotics / Automation Engineer for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, GA. You will design, develop, test, and deploy automated systems using various technologies and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and debug automated and robotic systems.

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop innovative solutions.

  • Monitor and analyze performance of automated systems.

  • Research and evaluate new technologies for automation and robotics.

  • Prepare technical documents, user manuals, and critical spare parts.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of automated and robotic systems.

  • Treat others with respect, promote a positive and productive culture, and contribute to shared team goals.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for automated systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in automation and robotics.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source components and materials for automation projects.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for automated systems.

  • Travel may be required and typically will not exceed 10%.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent technical, scientific, or engineering degree.

  • 1+ years of related experience in robotics or automation role preferred.

  • The ideal candidate is passionate about automation & robotics.

  • Passion and commitment to manufacturing and operations.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Thorough understanding of electrical wiring and computer software engineering.

  • Extremely proficient with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create accurate drawings and schematics.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to create reports and documentation.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools.

  • Experience with PLC programming and other industrial control systems.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in automation.

  • Experience with robotic simulation softwa
