Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will maintain the go-karts and track functionality, batting cages, bumper boats, miniature golf, and the overall facilities.

 

Accountabilities: 

•  Perform diversified duties and repairs to maintain the functionality of the go-karts, batting cages, bumper boats, miniature golf, facility and grounds. This includes both unscheduled and scheduled repairs (weekly/monthly/annually), as attractions may go down at any time and require preventative maintenance to uphold standards.
•  All work performed on attractions must adhere to procedures and guideline set forth by manufacturer and must not deviate from them. 
•  All documentation and repair logs are retained indefinitely, including annual inspections, NDT testing, and monitoring of grease bearings, among other records.
•  Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, troubleshooting and repair to the facility, go-karts and attractions. 
•  Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. 
•  Utilize a variety of hand and power tools including torque wrench and a rattle can paint gun. 
•  Adhere to OSHA safety regulations 
•  Keep work areas clean and organized.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 

•  Establish a positive safety culture that always ensures the safety of our employees and visitors. 
•  Ensure adherence to the standards of Five Star Parks and Attraction’s.
•  Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by management.
•  Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts.
•  This position demands physical strength and involves lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and walking. 
•  Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and mechanical skills desirable. Tasks include painting, repairing, and maintaining windows, doors, floors, drywall, and various other building components. Additionally furnace filters must be replaced, and other miscellaneous maintenance work must be performed. 
•  Knowledge and application of hand and power tools, including basic welding skills. 
•  Conduct general building maintenance or preventative maintenance.
•  Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to identify malfunctions
• Responsible for preforming small engine repairs, including complete rebuilds.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks for rides and attractions. 
•  Order components parts, supplies, materials, or equipment, and in some cases, pick up parts from local suppliers.
