Position Summary:

The Attorney Development Client Programming Manager (ADCPM) is an integral part of the Attorney Development team and will liaise and work closely with the Client Connect marketing team. The ADCPM is a firmwide resource and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of client programming, including Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programming for clients. This role involves a range of tasks focused on enhancing our client engagement and promoting our firm’s legal expertise through the creation and management of client programs. This position can be based in our Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Northern Virginia, Orlando, Philadelphia, Tampa, or Washington, D.C. office with a hybrid of in-office and remote work as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports all aspects of client programs, including full program development (as applicable) as well as coordinating programs, including drafting invitations, preparing CLE materials, and coordinating with the marketing and client teams on all logistics.
  • Works with attorneys to develop and refine CLE content, ensuring relevance and value for our clients.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to client requests for programs, including preparing catalogues and responses to requests for CLEs from clients, both generally and on specific topics or credit types.
  • Identifies opportunities to present existing client CLEs to other clients, broadening the reach of our legal training offerings.
  • Collaborates closely with the Client Connect team, including attending monthly meetings to exchange information and identify cross-marketing CLE opportunities.
  • Develops CLE programs qualifying for specialty credits or on specialty topics, to be presented to clients and offered in our OnDemand database, including programming related to DE&I and ESG.
  • Designs and prepares professional PowerPoint presentations for CLE programs.
  • Edits existing CLE presentations as needed.
  • Communicates directly with internal and external clients to ensure compliance with all CLE requirements.
  • Serves as a CLE expert and resource for CLE accreditation requirements (including updates to rules and interpretations) and ensures all CLE programs for clients comply with CLE regulations in jurisdictions where credit is being sought for the client. 
  • Reviews all course materials for Client CLEs and works with the CLE Manager to ensure compliance to award participants CLE credit. 
  • Reviews and analyzes CLEs conducted by the firm to identify potential presentations and presenters for new programs.
  • Responds to requests from clients for data and information related to training.
  • Tracks relevant metrics and KPIs related to client programming and value to the firm.
  • Answers day-to-day questions from attorneys, clients, marketing, and other staff regarding Client programs and compliance.
  • Provides real-time support to the Client Connect team during programs, including attending and managing virtual client webinars.
  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive CLE catalogue for clients.
  • Creates and distributes newsletters to clients, alumni, and friends of the firm highlighting upcoming live CLEs, recently added programs in our OnDemand database, and industry group news.
  • Stays abreast of trends in various markets that may present opportunities for CLE trainings.
  • Develops micro-learning materials to instruct shareholders on utilizing CLE to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Develops and delivers trainings on best practices for delivering client-facing programs.
  • Travels to client on-site programs as needed.
  • Supports other CLE Team and Attorney Development Team initiatives as needed.
