Duties & Responsibilities
For the assigned business unit,
- Responsible for managing and maintaining efficient ATM operational processes
- Ensure quality service and effective operations support for all the assigned internal and external customers
- Process daily and monthly balancing of all internal accounts and GLs related to ATM/Cash. Troubleshoot when necessary and work with others to reconcile discrepancies timely and ensure proper documentation and approval is obtained
- Assist with monitoring of ATM cash levels to ensure appropriate cash levels are maintained
- Oversee all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly ATM reconciliations
- Participates in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting the line of business and coordinating system conversions from an operation perspective
- Manages projects to increase usage, reduce operating costs, and decrease fraud and risk exposure
- Responsible for responding and resolving customer issues related to disputes
- Relationship management with ATM and Cash vendors
- Developing and implementing department processes and policies
- Training and mentoring associates on department policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize ATM operations and drive business objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ATM operations, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
- Work with direct reports on establishing performance objectives, as well as completing performance discussions/reviews

- Ability to recognize errors, issues, special requests, or inconsistencies in daily operations to solve or escalate to appropriate associate or manager
- Demonstrates organization/time management and ability to perform job functions with numerous interruptions
- Ability to adapt to changing information and business needs
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
PREFERRED:
- Advanced knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies, and procedures related to ATMs
- In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and project management skill
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in ATM contract negotiations
Requirements
MINIMUM:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 7 + years of experience in financial services or operations
- 2 + years of experience in ATM or cash operations
PREFERRED:
- Experience with AMP Payment Systems
- Hands-on work in ATM monitoring and hardware
- Lead or Supervisor experience
Work Environment:
Hybrid
Supervision/Management:
Responsible for a team of associates including hiring/selection, performance management and development.
Compensation Range:
Minimum: $57,760.00 - Maximum: $149,000.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
