Ancestry's Data, AI & Analytics Platforms team builds the platforms that power enterprise intelligence — from data pipelines and warehouse performance to customer-signal foundations and AI-augmented analytics. In this role, you will be a foundational PM working across three interconnected surfaces: Data Infrastructure, Growth Data Foundations, and AI Enablement.

You will partner closely with our Data Foundations TPM, Engineering leadership, and Marketing Analytics to ensure that platform data and customer signals are governed, high-quality, and seamlessly integrated into enterprise decision-making. This is a broad-scope entry point that grows into either a Data Foundations or AI Platforms specialization.

What you will do...

  • Support Foundational Data Strategy — Help execute platform initiatives that balance technical scalability with the needs of internal stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Product.

  • Steward Growth Data & Customer Signals — Support standardization, governance, and integration of external engagement data (attribution, conversion, customer journey) into the enterprise data ecosystem.

  • Maintain Data Contracts — Help define and monitor agreements between external platforms and internal infrastructure to ensure analytics and AI models are not disrupted by upstream changes.

  • Enable Platform Operations — Track pipeline health, data freshness, query performance, and cost optimization metrics for downstream partners.

  • Bridge Technical & Business Requirements — Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical specifications for Engineering and Platform Architecture teams.

  • Support AI Enablement — Coordinate rollout, feedback loops, and observability for internal AI tools and platforms; contribute to the team's AI literacy programming.

  • Privacy & Compliance Stewardship — Ensure customer signal data meets privacy standards and is handled ethically across the data lifecycle.

  • Document Rigorously — Create and maintain feature requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and platform documentation.

  • AI Literacy Programming — Operate AI tooling office hours; support team's 10% AI literacy charter commitment.

Who you are...

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Professional Experience: 1–3 years in product management, program management, data engineering, technical operations, or analytics roles. Strong new grads with relevant internships will be considered.

  • Technical Literacy: Working knowledge of SQL, data ingestion patterns, API integrations, and how customer signals are modeled in data warehouses. Familiarity with Redshi
