Associate, Strategy & Business Development

We are bringing together a team of high performing biotech professionals, leading academic institutions and a strong syndicate of healthcare-focused investors to achieve our vision.    Position Summary   We are looking for an Associate to bring a proactive energy, deep sense of ownership and teamwork to a fast-paced, high-science environment. Key responsibilities include:   
Strategy·        Drive lifecycle management and new product planning for Jasper’s pipeline through in-depth assessment of competitive landscape, market sizing, and NPV financial modeling of relevant disease areas. Commercial & Competitive Intelligence·        Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and manage target product profiles (TPPs) for Jasper’s pipeline products to guide clinical development decisions.·        Gain an understanding of the physician, patient, and payer perspective leveraging internal and external experts to inform Jasper’s clinical and commercial planning.·        Lead competitive intelligence efforts, providing clear and timely insights to key stakeholders across the company to inform strategic decision making.·        Attend and lead competitive intelligence activities at selected scientific conferences. Business Development·        Identify potential in-licensing opportunities to complement Jasper’s pipeline and lead scientific/financial evaluations to support potential collaborations.·        Manage data room access for potential out-licensing partners and collaborate with Finance/Legal teams to facilitate contract review.  QUALIFICATIONS ·        1-3 years of progressive, relevant experience, ideally within the biotech or pharmaceutical industries, life-sciences consulting or life-sciences investment banking.·        Bachelor's degree with ability to work and productively contribute in a high-science environment.·        Strong passion for transformative therapeutics in biotech with a basic knowledge of healthcare industry.·        Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to and engage with a wide range of audiences.·        Combination of intellectual discipline and enthusiasm - be your own strongest critic while advocating for proposals rather than against them.·        Ability to distill complex scientific information into digestible and actionable analysis.·        Collaborative workstyle focused on building long-term, lasting relationships both internally and externally.  OUR VALUESRespect ·        Respect people; their diversity, time, values, feelings, needs and preferences·        Be approachable, compassionate, kind and funCollaboration ·        Deliver via cross-functional project teams·        Think to proactively share relevant information·        Actively listen to seek to understand·        Do not be afraid to ask for help·        Keep a small company entrepreneurial mindset, be open and flexible about how you can contribute; lead like an ownerIntegrity ·        By always doing what is right by:o   Colleagueso   Patientso   Doctorso   The scientific processo   Shareholderso   EnvironmentResponsible ·        Follow up and deliver on commitments·        Be accountable to our peers and teams, stakeholders, patients and doctorsExcellence·        Be your personal best, set and live by high standards·        Have a passion for excellence and embrace feedback·        Embrace change, be innovative, creative and willing to challenge the status quoAcknowledgement ·        Real time reward and recognition, timely recognition of our peers with kudos·        Share feedback proactively and constructively·        Excellent performance must be encouraged, appreciated and rewarded Salary $105,000- $115,000 Jasper Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer
