About the Role:

Assists in the planning and supports execution of product development projects while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. Helps ensure consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle. Prepares technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses as requested. Applies best practices and follows standard procedures in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects. Interacts with research and development, marketing, manufacturing and regulatory departments.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Support Program Managers through a variety of technical, analytical, and administrative functions in support of advancing Neurocrine’s development programs

  • Ensure timely and accurate project documentation by updating project management systems, drafting minutes, updating SharePoint sites, and producing/distributing other forms of project communication

  • Create and maintain tracking systems, metrics, reports as needed

  • Assist in meeting schedules, documentation, and management

  • Facilitate and document project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, ensuring alignment with internal functional groups and leadership

  • Maintains defined project and/or vendor activities

  • Assist other departments on short-term projects as assigned

  • Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree and some relevant experience

  • Learning mindset, team orientation, professional demeanor

  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels across the organization

  • Ability to communicate project requirements in a positive manner

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications

  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet

  • Good project management skills
