Roadtex Transportation has become a leader in the nationwide LTL industry, specializing in transporting time and temperature-sensitive products. We handle refrigerated and LTL needs by leveraging no sailing schedules, our nationwide network of 32 strategically placed temperature-controlled facilities, our state-of-the-art tracking, and our specialized equipment and warehousing capabilities. In 2022, Roadtex was acquired by Echo Global Logistics. The acquisition brings a truckload brokerage and expanded transportation management solutions to Roadtex's customers while providing Echo with our national warehouse footprint and advanced temperature-controlled transportation solutions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and develop web-enabled applications for RoadTex
Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process
Works to ensure that project/department milestones are met
Actively participates as part of a team in the agile software development process and ceremonies
Required Skills:
Must be able to work onsite in our Miami, FL 33175 office
Knowledge of at least 2 OOP language (Microsoft Visual Studio, HTML, VB.NET, C#, Java, C++, Python) or knowledge of 1 Front-end framework (MVC, WPF), C#, and VB.net a must
Basic understanding of SQL / Relational DB
Knowledge of API's, WCF, SOAP, or Other integration framework
Bachelor's Level Degree with <1 year of relevant working experience
Work environment/physical demands summary:
This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
