Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
The Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology division is a multidisciplinary research team comprised of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of those with neurodegenerative disorders and their families. The Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology division is seeking a Data Analyst to join the team to oversee the management of data across multiple studies within a program of research for families affected by Huntington’s disease. This position is responsible for creating and managing large and complex longitudinal datasets, merging data that are collected across various platforms from a single research participant (e.g., REDCap, paper & pencil, iPad), conducting requested data analyses, preparing research reports and interpreting the findings, and ensuring data integrity for these varied research projects. There are opportunities for manuscript writing. A master’s degree is preferred in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uses quantitative research methods skills to participate in the coordination and conduct of research projects
  • Fosters collaboration between team members, both internal and external to the division
  • Uses statistical and data programming skills to manage and analyze data
  • Summarizes and interprets complex analyses
  • Responsible for managing large and complex longitudinal datasets
  • Prepares materials and drafts of technical sections of presentations and written documents
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as requested

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred with a strong background in data management and analysis
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional maturity with the ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential information
  • Ability work well with others and take initiative
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to independently identify impediments, problem-solve, and develop effective solutions
  • Possess exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
